Terms

Draft — under review

Last updated October 8, 2026. These terms are between you and CrudeCode, LLC ("Crude Code", "we"), which runs mineralrights.ai.

What the service is

mineralrights.ai reads a royalty statement you upload, looks up the wells in public state records, and gives you an estimate of what your minerals are worth. It is free.

It is an estimate, not advice

The valuation is an estimate to help you understand what you own. It is not an offer to buy, an appraisal, or legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and it does not decide whether you were paid correctly. It rests on public records and on assumptions about prices and how wells decline, and it can be wrong. Before you sell, or act on a dispute with your operator, talk to someone qualified, such as an attorney who works with mineral owners.

Your account and your statement

Using the site

Do not misuse the service: no uploading things that are not royalty statements, no trying to break in or overload it, and no automated use without asking us. We may stop or change the service, or close an account that misuses it.

Talking to a buyer

If you choose to be connected with a buyer, that is optional and nothing is sent unless you press the button. If you sell, the buyer pays us a commission. You never pay us anything. Any sale is between you and the buyer; we are not a party to it.

Ownership

You keep what you upload. The site, its text and its design belong to Crude Code. The well data comes from public state records.

Liability, disputes and changes

[BG: legal review — warranty disclaimer, limits on liability, governing law and how disputes are handled. Left blank on purpose.]

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do.
