About

About mineralrights.ai

mineralrights.ai helps people who own oil and gas minerals understand what they own and what it is worth. You upload one royalty statement and we tell you, in plain words.

Who runs it

mineralrights.ai is run by Crude Code (CrudeCode, LLC) and built by Bill Givens. Crude Code makes the well database the valuations come from: public state well and production records for Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, Wyoming and Oklahoma.

[BG: 2–3 sentences about your background]

How the site makes money

The valuation is free. You do not pay us, now or later, and we do not ask for a credit card.

At the end of your valuation you can choose to talk to a buyer who buys minerals. It is optional, and nothing happens unless you press the button. If you do decide to sell, the buyer pays us a small commission. You never pay us anything. If you only want to know what your minerals are worth, that is fine, and your valuation is yours either way.

What we do not do

What a valuation is, and is not

It is an estimate to help you understand what you own. It is not an offer, an appraisal, or legal, tax or investment advice. How we value it explains how we get to the number, and the guides explain how to read your statement. Our privacy page says what happens to what you upload.
